There's A Real Life Fight Club In This New Zealand Prison And It Looks Brutal

If you watch a TV drama or a movie about life in prison, it it's generally implied that all inmates do there is spend time fighting one another while plotting the next attempt to seriously damage a prison rival.
The problem is, that’s fiction. Someone has had to make up a plot line to make the violence necessary. But that’s not what actually happens in prison.
Oh no, inmates at the Mount Eden Correctional Facility have started their very own ‘fight club’ where the toughest prisoners sit back and watch weaker men fight one another.
There’s no plot, there’s no reason for it - it is simply a way to pass the time.
The fighting style is brutal as well. Bare knuckled, the fighters simply go at each other delivering blow after blow to their opponents’ face.
