This is by far the most heroic thing you’ll see today! A police officer in China broke the fall of a man who jumped off a building. When Officer Liang Xiao saw the man falling, he ran over and tried to catch him. Even though it was a tough landing for the both of them, they both survived the collision. They were only treated for minor injuries. The man who jumped is unnamed, but he is fortunately out of any danger and in the care of professionals. The reason for his jump is still being investigated, but it seems like he took hallucinogenic drugs before jumping.
It is awful when anyone attempts suicide for any reason. Fortunately, there are people in the world such as Officer Xiao who are selfless enough to help those in need.

It’s sad whenever we see those defending the law commit acts of brutality, but it’s even better when we see them protect their citizens. Officer Xiao definitely got great training as an officer!
We think Officer Xiao deserves a raise!
Suicide is something very serious. Whether or not the man was under the influence of drugs is something we don’t know. But if it was a suicide attempt, we only hope the saving of his life makes him think of why he wanted to kill himself. At least he’s getting the help he needs.
